This study uses the Greenhouse gases, Regulated Emissions, and Energy use in Transportation (GREET) model to compare the well-to-wheels (WTW) energy use and greenhouse gas emissions associated with various transportation technologies to those associated with plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
