This study forecasts that the water demand in India, combining all sectors, will increase at a CAGR of 3% until 2030.The study highlights that the Indian water sector can create investment potential of about USD 130 billion by 2030. Some of such areas have been pointed out where private sector investors could participate and contribute to the water scarcity solutions through innovative and cost-effective technology use and secure return on their investment, mainly through water demand management, water supply management, water infrastructure upgradation and water utilities management.
