The WFPF finances activities designed to (a) increase the coverage of people with access to safe drinking water and improved sanitation in the Asia and Pacific region; (b) improve efficiency of irrigation and drainage services; (c) reduce the number of people prone to risk of flooding; and (d)add to the number river basins implementing integrated water resources management. The WFPF's resources finance direct project support and program quality support.
