This present report is an outcome of an international workshop organized by Winrock International India under the aegis of the BASIC project (Building and Strengthening Institutional Capacity on Climate Change). The report aimed to bring together the national and international scientists and policy makers to understand the scientific and social issues governing the adaptation process. The report focuses on five major aspects of adaptation are friendly to mitigation of climate change impacts on agriculture sector.
