This two-part webinar focuses on the benefits of vehicle miles traveled (VMT) reduction projects. Presentations highlight two VMT reduction projects underway in the United States. The first presentation features a VMT-reduction project in the state of New Hampshire that has played an important role in fuel reductions in the midst of a difficult economy. This presentation also highlights best practices for surveying stakeholders and VMT project reporting. The second presentation focuses on Portland, Oregon's Metro Regional Government's successful VMT reduction program and projects.
