This Topic Guide provides an overview of the assessment and management of carbon emissions from infrastructure in developing countries. The Guide sets infrastructure carbon management in context and provides commentary on relevant trends, as well as setting out a framework and technical guidance to assist the practitioner plan and directing and/or influencing carbon management for infrastructure in less developed countries. In addition, the Guide provides specific guidance on assessing and managing carbon emissions in the energy, water, transport and waste sectors, as well as emissions resulting from changes in land use or infrastructure services.
