This technical report is published by The United nations framework convention on climate change secretariat and the expert group on Technology Transfer carried out an extensive review of adaptation technologies and assessed their possibilities in five sectors: coastal zones, water resources, agriculture, public health and infrastructure. It illustrates the principles and methods of adaptation to combat the impacts of climate change by citing best examples. Finally emphasizes on the necessary and immediate actions for adaptation strategies. Hence this report is useful for researchers and policy makers.
