This report presents the results of a pilot study of 78 small commercial customers in the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. Participants were given a participation incentive and provided with both help in implementing energy efficiency measures for their buildings and an array of energy options, including air-conditioning setpoint controls. Energy savings during the study averaged 20 per cent, with the potential of saving an additional 14-20 per cent during peak summer conditions. Moreover, 80 per cent of participants said the program met or exceeded their expectations.
