This resource presents information regarding the Standards and Labelling for Household Appliances policy implemented in Norway. Energy labels for refrigerators, freezers and combination models, washing machines and tumble dryers were introduced following European Union directives on the subject. Standards and labelling of lamps came into force in January 2001.
