The National Communication is a document by which the country reports on actions taken or planned to address climate change. Its content, which responds to the UNFCCC guidelines and the country, includes five modules: 1) National Circumstances, 2) National Emissions Inventory Greenhouse Gases, 3) Mitigation and Adaptation Measures to Climate Change, 4) Other information and 5) Barriers and Gaps and Related Financing Needs, Technology and Capacity. The module was developed by National Circumstances SENPLADES and commented upon by the Steering Committee members.
