This report analyses the potential for rooftop solar in Delhi, India. It proposes that Delhi can be a two-gigawatt solar city by 2020, a target reached by combining three perspectives: the available rooftop space to reach a geographic potential; the economic viability of solar for different tariff groups and system sizes; and the amount of grid-connected solar power the grid can handle.
