The World Bank initiated a study to understand the "ground-level" barriers that developers are facing in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of steps required to mitigate the same. During this study, 25 developers were interviewed on five parameters (policy and regulations, technology, solar radiation data, infrastructure and financing), which covered the development cycle of solar power projects ranging from policy to financing aspects, and this report is primarily based on the responses of the developers.
