This paper provided a basis for discussion during a U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities strategy workshop. It explores the current technology and market status of renewable natural gas in the United States. The report also analyses barriers impeding significant deployment, marketplace opportunities and the environmental benefits of renewable natural gas as an alternative fuel.
