This report focuses on the socio-economic effects of policies aimed at deploying renewable energy projects in Germany. The findings of the report indicated that renewable energy policies had a decisive effect on climate goals, and the continued expansion of renewable energy projects is likely to increase employment compared to a baseline case. Additionally, it stated that there is a positive net effect of about 35,000 to 40,000 employees as compared to a fictive state without renewable energy use, with most of them employed in medium-size enterprises.
