This tool is used to evaluate the financial feasibility of Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation (REDD) projects in developing countries. This tool is not a requirement of the CCB Standards or SOCIALCARBON Standards, but it is intended to help project developers to design projects that are likely to be financially viable. This tool was created to facilitate the assessment of the economic feasibility of potential REDD projects, and it is designed to support analysis of project feasibility, help project developers to decide whether projects could generate sufficient resources to implement and maintain the project. The tool consists of Excel worksheets and requires email registration in order to download it.
