This toolkit enables small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to achieve cleaner, resource-efficient production organised by resource category (water, energy, chemicals, wastes and materials) with a clear methodological guidance, based on an in-depth survey and review of existing tools and techniques. The kit is an integrated resource efficiency package to be used by SMEs, chief executive officers, SME operations managers and resource efficiency and cleaner production service providers in developing countries and economies in transition.
