Policy Instrument Design to Reduce Financing Costs in Renewable Energy Technology Projects

This report aims to assist policymakers in designing renewable energy technology policies that help reduce overall financing costs. The authors note that policy should ensure long-term political and societal commitment, reduce risk, consider technology lifespan, and be flexible in order to incorporate future developments in renewable energy financing.
