This report summarizes the findings of the Study of the Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA), which is dedicated to facilitating continental integration in Africa through improved regional infrastructure. Sections 3–8 of the report address the transport outlook through 2040, the energy outlook through 2040, an outlook for transboundary water resources through 2040 and an outlook for information and communication technology (ICT) services through 2018.
