This report provides the outcomes of in-country consultations on Pacific adaptation to climate change that were held in 2006. Section 1 outlines the urgency for adaptation to climate change in small island developing states. Section 2 provides situation analysis of climate change in Papua New Guinea. Section 3 analyses selecting priority sectors for adaptation interventions, as well as the impacts of climate change within these sectors. Section 4 provides information of the delivery mechanism for full-sized project implementation of the Papua New Guinea component of the Pacific Adaptation to Climate Change programme. Section 5 covers project goals, outcomes, outputs and activities.
