The National Adaptation Programmes of Action (NAPA) Rwanda report is the result of a year-long process carried out by a national team. Results of this process focused on identifying climate change"s mutual and cumulative impacts on highly vulnerable populations, as well as the agricultural, water, and energy sectors. The strategy for adequate response to this situation reached by NAPA Rwanda articulates six priority adaptation options to climate change. These projects are to be launched starting in 2007. In this phase of Rwanda"s development, success in implementing these projects and achieving assigned objectives is not possible unless relevant measures are taken to support these projects.
