The purpose of this report is to provide details of economic modelling using an Australian Energy Sector Model (ESM) to determine the potential outcomes of scenarios developed by the Energy Futures Forum. The Energy Futures Forum is a diverse group of energy and transport sector stakeholders who have come together in an initiative led by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) to explore plausible scenarios and their implications for the nation's future.
