The Little Green Data Book is a reference for key environmental data for over 200 economies. Key indicators are organized under the headings of agriculture, forestry, biodiversity, energy, emission and pollution, and water and sanitation. It provides country-relevant ‘green’ metrics with the aim of giving a picture of environmental sustainability challenges. The selection of indicators includes some of those being used to monitor progress toward the Millennium Development Goals. It provides data by region, income level and mostly by country. The Book is a result of collaboration between the Development Data Group of the Development Economics Vice Presidency and the Agriculture and Environmental Services Department of the Sustainable Development Network Vice Presidency.
