This report presents the current situation of energy efficiency in Latin America and the Caribbean; the commitment and role of OLADE; the antecedents, objectives, organization and cooperation of the project PALCEE; a proposed institutional framework for the participating countries and the results; some training of the institutions responsible for energy efficiency.
