This report is part of the Energy Efficiency Guides from the energy division of the Inter-American Development Bank, motivated by the lack of information on energy efficiency in Latin America and the Caribbean. It provides examples at regional and worldwide levels in Spanish. This guide is directed to professionals working on energy efficiency in public and private institutions in the region from the local or national government, regulatory organizations, energy companies and clients of developers of energy efficiency projects. It can be helpful for professionals from multilateral or bilateral development organizations working on the Latin American region.
