GreenCOM is the Environmental Education and Communication Project of USAID. This report provides an overview of the project, and how gender has been integrated into its work. Included are examples of projects in Africa, Jordan, Ecuador, Niger, Egypt, and El Salvador, highlighting the main gender-related findings. Activities to further integrate gender into the work of GreenCOM are also described, including gender training for staff and consultants, the development of gender indicators, and the dissemination of lessons learned.
