This interactive tool offers support in integrating gender equality in climate smart development. Via tabs you can easily navigate between policy cycle, recommendations, quick links etc. This allows you to find relevant information without having to read the whole document.

The tool focuses on climate smart development in five different sectors: water, food security, energy, natural resources, and disaster risk reduction. Per sector you can directly access:

Climate change effects on that sector;
Gender implications of these effects;
Recommendations and best practices for gender equality integration;
Useful resources & tools.

Furthermore, the tool includes a section on the policy cycle, identifying entry points for gender equality integration in different stages. Although it focuses on the policy cycle of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is equally useful for policy and programme cycles of other governmental and non-governmental institutions in various contexts.
