This report integrates the three key dimensions of the Low Carbon Future Cities project: climate mitigation, climate adaptation, and resource efficiency. It presents two low carbon scenarios for the pilot city of Wuxi with project energy consumption and CO2 emission in Wuxi up to 2050. It goes on to develop a long-term scenario to explore what would the pattern of resource utilisation be in a low carbon future Wuxi. Another relevant question addressed in this report relates to climate change trends in Wuxi and their impacts on Wuxi, which serve as a basis for exploring potential adaptation measures for the city.
