This report details key findings from a workshop in Dakar, Senegal that focused on the experiences of rural energy agencies and rural energy funds. The workshop included more than 200 practitioners from 41 countries, including 33 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. Themes addressed include institutional approaches to energy access, low-cost solutions and making access to electricity affordable, and integrating gender into energy operations
