Implementation Options and Recommendations for Net Metering and Feed-In Tariffs for Distributed Generation and Renewable Energy Sources within the European Union

This report reviews energy policies promoting distributed generation (DG), renewable energy sources (RES) and policy and market instruments in the European Union (EU)-15 Member States. Specifically, the report focuses on feed-in tariffs and net metering. Details on the effectiveness of different policies in the EU-15 Member States and in the United States are also provided.
