Viet Nam is one of five countries that will be most severely affected by climate change. This report describes the impacts of climate change (rainfall and temperature changes) on seven of Viet Nam"s largest river basins: Red, Thai Binh, Ca, Thu Bon, Ba, Dong Nai Rivers and Cuu Long delta, with high (A2) and medium (B2) emissions scenarios. Together the seven basins are deemed representative of the climate change effects in the country. Further, measures are proposed, for each basin, to adapt to the water sector in response to climate change.
