By collaborating with local stakeholders, the Worldwatch Institute has produced sustainable energy roadmaps for several countries and world regions. In this roadmap for the Dominican Republic, the Worldwatch Institute has conducted the technical, socioeconomic, financial, and policy assessments needed to create a smooth transition to an energy system that is socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable. The roadmap addresses energy efficiency, renewable energy resources, the electricity grid, energy scenarios through 2030, and energy finance.
