H2RES is an energy-planning tool for islands and isolated regions. The model is designed for balancing between hourly time series of water, electricity, heat and hydrogen demand, storage and supply. It includes modules for modeling load from renewable energy sources, desalination, batteries, grid connection, and fossil fuels. The tool can also be used to plan single power projects connected to a larger grid.
