The report has been published by International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) to estimate the Green House Gases (GHG"s) emissions in Indian agricultural sector. The methodology was based on IMPACT model of IFPRI and standard accounting method of Inter-government Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for the estimations of emissions for 2000-2050. And it suggests cost-effective mitigation options through irrigation management techniques and energy consumption for increasing agricultural productivity and resilience to climate change. The present report has a list of figures and tables for the data collected from the various sources.
