Gender and Water Supply and Sanitation: Guiding Questions Working Paper

Sector Wide Approaches (SWAps) form the main framework for Danida's development assistance and SWAps are increasingly being adopted by donor agencies as an effective and efficient way to ensure that development initiatives have national reach and ownership. Danida has developed a series of guidelines to ensure that sector programming integrates gender equality concerns. The Guiding Questions on Gender and Sector Programme serve as a tool for development practitioners for assessment of various reports, studies and Sector Programme Support Documents at the different stages of the programme cycle.
