Flood Risks, Infrastructure Resilience, and Climate Change Adaptation in Mumbai, India: Case Study

The purpose of this case study is to illustrate the evaluation of climate adaptation policy options to increase infrastructure resilience in Mumbai – an Indian city covering more than 480 square kilometres with a population of 12 million. The report discusses public transportation and building codes, as well as several other topics in relation to improving infrastructure to protect against the threats of climate change in India, namely flooding.
