Existing CDM Potential and Perspectives for Carbon Finance in RCREEE (Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency) Member States Beyond 2012

This report analyzes the potential for clean development mechanism (CDM) deployment, such as energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, in the following countries: Jordan, Yemen, Syria, Libya, Lebanon, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco. Additionally, this report identifes CDM projects that are mature and capable of being registered in 2012 for the purposes of the EU's Emissions Trading Scheme.
