This report from the United States Department of Energy's (DOE) Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNL) evaluates the benefits of implementing conservation voltage reduction (CVR) technology, a grid application that reduces consumption during power transmission, on a nationwide level throughout the United States. The report arrives at several conclusions, estimating the overall reduction in energy consumption from nationwide deployment, as well as the potential gains from deployment in "high-value" areas.
