Background

The Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN) is a successful public private partnership initiated by the Climate Technology Initiative (CTI). It acts as a financing coaching and investor matchmaking service to guide clean and renewable energy projects to a bankable financial close. Services are free of charge. Regional networks have been established in Latin America Africa Asia and CIS/ Eastern Europe with dedicated country networks and activities in China and India. These mechanisms that are in place can be transferred to other countries.

Purpose

To establish PFAN networks and activities in Mozambique and Uganda in support of other PFAN activities elsewhere in Africa.
