This report has some of the gender-differentiated climate change impacts and adaptation interventions in four agro-climatic zones across four States in India. This document critically analyses the implications for women livelihoods. The study outlines the roles of different actors including national and state-level government agencies, Panchayat Raj Institutions, the scientific community and civil society organizations. Changes in policy, practice and adaptation research have been recommended using a gender analysis framework. This research study is quite relevant and immensely useful for policy makers and researchers to highlight the gender concerns and development specific policy for coping with them.
