This report describes E-Energy, a support and funding priority undertaken by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology to support information and communication technologies (ICT) used to reduce energy consumption. The report also presents the findings from the E-Energy Beacon Project, which provided funding to stimulate the development of localized ICT solutions to foster energy efficiency.
