This report documents the impacts and lessons learned from a large-scale, 10-year project undertaken by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy with the Renewable Energies, Environment and Solidarity Group (GERES) to disseminate the New Lao Stove in Cambodia. The stove has been successfully commercialized and distributed by a private supply chain in urban areas, and by non-profit actors in rural areas. An innovative aspect of the program was the use of carbon finance. Partnerships with local communities led to other projects such as clean charcoal production with forest communities.
