A report on the formulation of Jamaica's National Adaptation Strategy using Precis, SDSM and GCM data as a basis for developing long-term strategies to cope with the impending changes in precipitation. In particular it focuses on the need to safeguard against less frequent, but more catastrophic events such as prolonged droughts, flash floods etc. It does this by means of an assessment of vulnerabilities and threats as well an institutional, policy and legislative review.
