This book presents the results of the planning process of Conservation Corridor for Chingaza, Sumapaz and Guerrero areas, Colombia. It contains the design for Corridor considering environmental management at regional level and the design of a CDM forest project to mitigate climate change. Also, it contains the design of a restoration program and guidelines to strengthen the management of protected areas currently declared. The Corridor proposal includes the identification of areas with high importance for biodiversity conservation and environmental services provition. In these areas will be taken actions for restoration of degraded ecosystems and improved production systems with sustainable practices, which will contribute to the regional adaptation to new scenarios of climate change and variability.
