This national review of outstanding energy efficiency programs recognizes the best utility-sector programs in the United States. The competition solicited nominations for all types of programs from all sectors. 90 programs were selected, which together saved over 2,400 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity and 400 megawatts (MW) of peak demand during 2007. The report lists the programs selected, discusses how the review was done, and includes observations about common characteristics, costs and overall savings.
