This document examines the potential for carbon capture and storage (CCS) to both meet and exceed European Commission carbon reduction targets on the industrial level. Iron and steel, cement, refining, and the chemical industry are the industries of focus for the analysis. Policy recommendations to foster industrial CCS follow the analysis of technologies and applications.
