This online data base collects information on international climate mitigation initiatives in operation that (1) have potential to contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, (2) are international in scope or have the potential for significant impact at global scale, and (3) are dialogues, formal multilateral processes or implementation initiatives. The information on the initiatives includes information about thematic focus, type of initiative, description, goal and activities, participant, and funders. The platform was built on a wiki format to enable collaborative development and flexible use. It is intended to provide an on-line space that allows contributions from participating organizations and users to ensure it remains accurate and current.
