This web site provides background information on--access to resources related to--the U.S. Climate Action Plan, which was released in June 2013. The comprehensive plan is intended to reduce carbon pollution, move the U.S. economy toward American-made clean energy sources and begin to slow the effects of climate change. The website provide access to the Executive Order ("Preparing the United States for the Impacts of Climate Change") that established Interagency Climate Change Adaptation Task Force of state, local, and tribal leaders to advise the federal government on its response to climate change. The website includes task force reports and earlier action plans.
