The objective of this research report is to provide an update of the climate change adaptation in water management for food security in South Asia, particularly focusing on Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. As a region as well as individual countries, the focused area represents one of the most vulnerable regions in the world to climate change. As climate change has a pronounced impact on the sustainable development in the region, the report assesses the incorporation of its impacts to the development policies in water, agriculture and disaster management fields, and brings out the strengths and weaknesses.
