The Asian Development Bank (ADB) aims to promote clean energy and diversify the Asian and Pacific markets away from greenhouse gas-producing fossil fuels while benefiting the poor by cutting the cost of electricity and protecting the air, water, and soil quality. This report uses examples from ADB's recent work to improve energy efficiency and access with both forward-thinking technology and retrofitting activity.
