Chololo Ecovillage is a part of The Global Climate Change Alliance (GCCA), an initiative of the European Union. This report argues that it provides an exemplary and empowering examples for communities to test, evaluate and apply a wide range of adaptation innovations in key sectors such as agriculture, livestock, water, energy and forestry. The project aims to provide practical solutions to the climate challenges as it works across several sectors. Through a holistic approach, the report argues that the project is breaking new ground, achieving synergies and strengthening the knowledge base of good practice in climate change adaptation, while reducing carbon footprints.
